Trip to the Zoo
Wednesday, November 26, 2008 | By German - 2 comments
I went to the zoo recently to do some studies of the animals. As an artist one should feel compelled to draw all manner of things from life but really I felt like a big kid running around, sketching exhibit after exhibit. I love animals and the zoo. I go about once a year or so but I'll have to start going more often. There are so many more animals to draw and get to know.

He was so still we all thought he was dead until he moved his head slightly to the right in disagreement

The male and female tigers are kept in seperate pens during mating season. This makes them very anxious and they kept pacing back and forth

I love the stylish look of this malayin tapir. Nature is the best designer ever
