Brown pencil on 21.3X29.5 Heavy Paper coloured in PSCS3/VISTA

For those of you who do not know I am currently working at Revolver Games as an Illustrator & Marketing Coordinator. Revolver Games has been recently seeing some major improvements throughout the production of our first major project, Bijoux Red. When you are in such a creative, progressive & passionate environment, you can't help but want to step up your game! It felt only natural when I proposed we take the illustrations to a new level.

We have experimented with changing the illustrations before to match a more familiar & contemporary aesthetic but that idea quickly fell flat. After some time passed, we approached the idea again with much more success! I look forward to sharing more illustrations with all of you in the coming months.

India Ink on Illustration Board.

I have been missing from this blog for awhile. It is because I have been busy, ironically, drawing. I have been drawing so much these past few days that I have piles of art just sitting here waiting to be scanned. I will get to it in due time.

In the meanwhile, I would like to share this modest little hellboy drawing.

p.s. I have been waging a WAR against contractions, if you see me use one call me out! As soon as we win this war against terrorism I plan to move on to colloquialisms!

India Ink on 9X12 100lb. Smooth Bristol and Brown pencil,Marker & India Ink on 11x14 Smooth Bristol.

Old drawing, new drawing. This, my friends, is what persistence and hard work yields. The drawing on the left is from 2007 and the drawing on the right is 2009, yesterday.

My brother & mum pointed out that the two drawings shouldn't be compared as they were completed in different styles and therefore had different goals but I pointed out that the drawing on the right was the drawing I was TRYING to make in 2007.

Tattoo Design

PSCS3/VISTA.

While I was down in Argentina I was asked to design a tattoo. Feeling inspired by the local culture, I designed the tattoo in the spirit of filete porteno. Filete porteno is a traditional decorative art that adorns many signs and objects throughout the capital. Drawn completely digitally for a change.

edit: Does anyone know why when i put an N with a tilde over it the letter shows up as ñ when i publish the post?

HB India Ink on 9X12 110lb. Cotton Vellum.

Hopefully, this is okay to show. I inked a comic strip for Kyle Carrozza a while ago and this was my favorite panel. Kyle always draws lots of great, fun cartoony shapes and challenges me to think in a different way to portray his lively lines as real, solid 3d masses in ink.
