HB pencil on 9X12 65lb. Sketchbook Bond.
A little study of a couple of boxers. I've been doing a few of those in my sketchbook. I always liked the intensity and ferocity of boxers but I've haven't been able to capture those qualities. I'll keep at it till I got it.
I think that's part of the gift and curse of an artist, pursuing that which is intangible, trying to give form to the formless. It's oddly satisfying!Labels: boxers, boxing, sketchbook |
